i still prefer the regular Barricade. the window tint looked fake on the premium version..the barricade i got was from “First Encounter” boxset…and believe or not, there’re 2 Frenzy’s inside!! (one is in the toybox and the other is “locked” inside Barricade’s hood with a platic but can easily be removed with careful hands..its a cool black frenzy btw)anyway, thanks peaugh for the nice review…although i think u should’ve gotten the first encounter version instead…its value for money

Well, I JUST picked this up about 3 days ago on a whim, so I didn’t have much of a choice in which version I got. I had the original version when they movie toys first came out, but sold it off as part of a pre-move purge in January.

I hope that there is NO premium version for the next movie. They should be done RIGHT from the start. This Barricade was better than the original. I did swicth parts with the original and premium to make mine better though. I then used the extra one to customize.

barricade wasnt killed in the movie. he was just banged up by bumblebee and then came back. but, we didnt see him in the last battle.

Well we saw him heading to the battle with Bonecrusher. The graphic movie novel shows that Optimus not only kills Bonecrusher in the highway scene, but throws Barricde against a pillar which causes to whack his head off and kill him.

Awesome review, and eh, I liked the toned-down version of Cade better, with less logos. I thought the police insignia and “To punish and enslave…” was creepy and bold enough. Not bad, though =3

this is only the movie one and i had the energon combiners set barricade and i have a close relative of the energon one from universe called dropshot but unlike the energon one his hands are the cannons and he has more than the cannons on his arms due to his cyber key

Well the Premium figures are dubbed most “Movie Accurate”, but its quite hard to find the black version, considering the grey and blue recon version is in more places. And actually, there are not THAT many Barricade versions.

I just got Interrogator Barricade, and it is identicle to this in most regards. The booklet doesn’t show alot of the transformation, watching this helped me out alot. Instead of frenzy, he has inter. headlights. Still pretty cool.

No, later in the movie you see Ironhide pushing him of the road. You don’t see him die. And in Reign of Starscream, it is stated that after Ironhide pushing him off the road (while Optimus Prime was fighting Bonecrusher) Following the battle in Mission City, Starscream found and told him that Frenzy had important information about the Allspark. Starscream orders Barricade to stay on Earth as a spy. (wich he probably does)

in mater offact i read the official novel and i read that in the battle between bonecrusher and Optimus Prime turn out barricede waz in that battle 2 and barricade died becuase u dont see barricade in that batlle and u dont see him in the second movie so i have reason 2 believe that barricade died in the first movie
